ABOUT SLATER’S 50/50:
Southern California native and bacon aficionado, Slater’s 50/50 founder Scott Slater, started off his career in the restaurant industry with string of successful hot-dog stands. Inspired by his love of bacon, Slater set out to make his next endeavor one that would capture the essence of a great neighborhood pub: home to good beer, great food and a bar staff that is never surly. In 2009, Slater teamed up with college buddy and chef Brad Lyons to open the first Slater’s 50/50 in Anaheim Hills, California. Named after a Charger’s tailgate party dare to create an all-bacon burger, Scott and Brad’s creative juices flowed as they developed the restaurant’s namesake 50/50 patty which, alongside their larger-than-life burger creations, has taken Southern California by storm. In the past three years, subsequent locations have opened in Huntington Beach, San Diego, Pasadena, and now Lake Forest, much to the delight of bacon, burger and beer worshipers everywhere.

ABOUT PEDIATRIC CHILDREN’S RESEARCH FOUNDATION:
The Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. Inspired by the groundbreaking research of Dr. Mitchell Cairo, the foundation quickly grew beyond its Orange County roots. Since 1982, PCRF has raised over $30 million for cutting edge pediatric cancer research, which has led to continuing improvements in the care, quality of life and survival rates of children with malignant diseases.
