Slater’s 50/50 in Lake Forest is gearing up for what is set to become one of Orange County’s greatest yearly get-togethers – in my personal opinion – for its second year. Slater’s 50/50 Backyard Brewfest, a fantastic mash up of some of the best in craft beer and food that Southern California has to offer, all for the benefit of some great causes.
Happening Saturday April 5th in the Lake Forest Slater’s 50/50 location parking lot, newly Cicerone Certified “beermonger” Mark Shultz, has more than doubled the size of this special event. Slater’s 50/50 is set to present more than 40 craft breweries from across Southern California, pulling some of the best from San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles.
Some of the breweries that will be in attendance include – Ballast Point, El Segundo Brewing Co, Hangar 24, Beach City Brewery, Bootlegger’s Brewery, Iron Fist Brewing Company, Saint Archer, Noble Ale Works plus many many more, including some craft beers that you have never experienced before. Tickets to the event are $50 for a limited time and include a commemorative pint glass and unlimited samples from all breweries in attendance until samples are gone! Tickets also include unlimited sampling of Slater’s 50/50 food that will be cooked up on a massive BBQ right in the middle of the festival. Adding a real “backyard” feel to the entire event.
The Slater’s 50/50 Backyard Brewfest, in partnership with the Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce, will provide proceeds to the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Forest, 4 H Superstars, Soroptimist and South County Outreach.
