San Diego is no stranger when it comes to awesome music events filled with incredibly talented musicians and bands. But this coming weekend, Til Two Club will serve as host to a musical event that promises to take your typical festival to a whole new level of ‘RAD’.
Prepare yourselves for a weekend of Epic Future Radness.
Organized by Brian Clinebell – front man for local psychedelic rock n roll band The Kabbs – Epic Future Radness will feature many of the best and brightest from the San Diego and Los Angeles psychedelic, garage and surf rock music scenes.
When asked about his inspiration to organize such an event, Brian Clinebell said he wanted to recreate the feelings and experiences from a now defunct festival called Johnny Rad Fest.
In his interview with Dustin Lothspeich for SD Uptown News Clinebell said, “I wanted to bring that feeling back of an underground show but with up-and-coming bands that are doing great things music-wise in San Diego, and a few out-of-town acts that might not get as much buzz down this way.”
With his work organizing such great acts including headliners The Blank Tapes and Dahga Bloom accompanied by Artifact Band, The Lumps, Artic, Monarch, Amerikan Bear and Clinebell’s group The Kabbs, attendees are guaranteed a celebration of epic proportions.
Even more astounding than the acts themselves might be the sponsors Clinebell pulled together for this 2-Day event. Festival sponsors include Converse, Brixton and even Fender Guitars. Thanks to these great sponsors attendees can take part in raffles both nights. Raffle prizes include skateboard decks from Lurkville and Pacific Drive, gift certificates from San Diego’s own M-Theory and count them, 3 guitars from Fender.
Til Two Club will be the home for all that is Epic Future Radness. Tickets for the 2-day event are available now and can be purchased at Til Two Club’s website. $20 for the entire event, Friday night tickets will be $12 day of and Saturday $10.
