We sit down with Brian Beagle for Stout Fest 2015. Brian Beagle, writer, brewer and craft beer lover is a wealth of beer knowledge. Together, we drink, sample and discuss a number of Stouts including Brian’s own recipe Chinout – a dry hopped and highly drinkable San Diego stout. Hear about the creation and brew process behind this “fan favorite” beer from Mr. Beagle. Together we also drink and discuss City of the Dead by Modern Times, Santa’s Little Helper from Port Brewing plus more including the King of San Diego Stouts – Speedway Stout by Alesmith! Regardless of us drinking all stouts at Stout Fest, we take a turn in conversation which leads more or less to Craft Fest, where we discuss craft beer as a whole in both San Diego and beyond.
