The sixth annual San Diego Beer Fest is finally here, back at the San Diego County Fair June 22nd-24th. We have got all the info you need for the beer weekend. Please join us as we get ready for San Diego International Beer Festival!
In the past six years the San Diego International Beer Festival has grown to become one of the largest of its kind in the entire U.S. Beer brewers and beer lovers alike will gather for a weekend of sharing great times over some of the best beer in the world. This year event goers can expect over 100 breweries from 15 different countries contributing over 300 brews to the festival! (For a complete list of participating breweries please click here.)
The San Diego International Beer Festival takes places at the Chevrolet Del Mar Arena on June 22nd-24th. There will be two separate sessions held Friday – Noon to 4pm and 5pm-9pm. Saturday will also have two sessions – 11am-3pm and 4pm-8pm. Sunday will have one session during the afternoon from 1-5pm and this session will have a special focus on San Diego’s craft beers. Each session costs 48$ per attendee and this price includes admission to the San Diego County Fair. If you only plan to attend the Beer Festival and dont want to enter the fair itself, admission is 35$ per guest. (Three B suggests hitting the SD Fair. No better way to spend a summer afternoon than a beer fest and then an afternoon at the fair!) Price of admission includes a souvenir taster glass and a wrist band for beer tasting. This wrist band will give guests an unlimited amount of 1oz. tasters of all beer entered into the festival for the session they attend.

Looking to attend the SD Beer Fest in VIP style? Worry no more for there is an option for you as well! If you would like to experience the day in the VIP Brewers Lounge, tickets are 90$ with fair admission and 80$ without. What will the extra price tag get event guests? Not only do you get entrance into the festival 30 minutes earlier than other guests, you will receive a 6oz. souvenir glass for use in the lounge and on the festival floor. There will be 5 craft beer stations in the lounge serving up world class brews along side food paired with each. Guests who choose the VIP experience will be allowed to go to town on the food pairings and craft beer for two full hours into each festival session. The VIP Brewers Lounge is in its own special area overlooking the entire beer festival grounds. Tickets for the VIP entrance can also be purchased at the main box office or through ticketmaster online.
