Mother Earth Brewing Company opened their brand new Tap House on Saturday June 23rd at 206 Main Street in Vista and we were there to celebrate with a room full of beer fans. Check out our photo gallery from the opening day / afternoon right here!
From our interview with Kamron Khannakhjavani of Mother Earth Brewing Company last year, one of the things we talked about was the “feel at home” atmosphere they wanted to put out to their visitors each day. In regards to their attitude Kamron said Mother Earth strives to , “Make our beer very approachable, enjoyable. Just good conversation, good brews and good people. That type of attitude.” He continued on to say, “Its kind of an extension of our personalities in here, you know?” This friendly, welcoming atmosphere has definitely followed them to their brand new Mother Earth Tap House located at 206 Main Street in Vista.
From the brick wall on one side of the tap house, adorned with brand new incredible art work based on some of their popular brews and banners sporting some of their own words – Respect North County Beer, Love Your Mother for example – to across the room where the cooler is connected into the rest of the wall. This wall displays some of the Mother Earth Brewing Co’s favorite albums on vinyl on the cooler and wall stretching to the far back of the room. This tap house is an extension of their personality, and boy does it have personality!
As soon as you enter the building you will feel right at home. Patio style seating with tables lining the front entrance of the new tap house where beer fans are welcomed to order food from the surrounding eateries and chow right on site and wash it down with their favorite Mother Earth brew. Inside you will see the brick wall with plenty of long tables and stool seating for their guests to post up with some good beer and some good friends for some good conversation. In the back of the room you will find a great bench lining most of the back of the room for guests to sit and hang with a big group of buddies. The real phone booth in the back left corner of the room may be phone-less, but the walls of the booth are lined with menus and phone numbers to local restaurants for their guests to order food while visiting. A truly brilliant move.
The new tap house bar stretches most of the building, leaving plenty of elbow room for your neighbors while ordering and tasting. The same genuine hospitality that has always been presented at their Thibodo brewing location is found here. There are many Mother Earth team members smiling away and helping their guests by answering plenty of questions, filling growlers and pouring plenty of their delicious brews. Of course another thing you will find at the new tap house is delicious Mother Earth beer! On opening day there were 10 taps offered, including Cali Creamin Vanilla Cream Ale, Pin Up Pale, Rysing Tyde Rye IPA and Double Decker English Brown.
If you are looking for a friendly, welcoming beer lovers hangout look no further. Mother Earth Brewing Co’s Tap House is a great place to visit with a group, or with a few close friends for a great beer and a great time.
